Job Title: Coach, Olami Souled   

Reports To: Coach Manager  

  

Summary: 

Are you ready to make a real difference in the lives of Jewish women, and in your own life? At Olami Souled, we believe every Jewish woman has the potential to grow, inspire, and transform, not just spiritually, but in her commitment to Torah and mitzvos.  

  

This isn't just a job. It's a mission.  

As a Souled Coach, you'll guide women as they deepen their connection to Judaism, discover their strengths, and take bold steps in their Judaism. 

  

Student Engagement & Growth  

  

Regular Coaching Sessions: Meet weekly or bi-weekly with each student via Zoom (computer/laptop/iPad only) to build relationships, guide Jewish learning, and support practical application of mitzvos. 

Personalized Learning: Assist students in selecting topics and goals from the Souled curriculum, preparing relevant materials for each session.  

Encourage Practice: Guide students in adopting new Jewish practices (e.g., Shabbos, Kashrus, Tznius), tracking progress and providing encouragement.  

Connect to Community: Link students to live events, virtual learning, community hosting, trips, and Souled Circles to foster growth and belonging.  

Assess Trajectory: Evaluate each student’s background and growth with openness and a direct focus on movement; support students who are actively growing and lovingly transition those who have stabilized or reached their ceiling within Souled. 

  

Administrative Excellence  

Actively check and engage with the team Announcements WhatsApp chat daily and routinely check e-mails from leadership for important updates, etc. 

Meeting Documentation: Complete a detailed report for each student meeting within 24 hours, capturing key discussion points, progress, challenges, and next steps.  

Timesheet Accuracy: Update your timesheet daily with all hours worked.  

Scheduling: Schedule and confirm all student meetings using the program scheduling tool.  

Record Keeping: Maintain up-to-date and accurate student records in the program’s CRM and dashboard. 

100% of students learning more than 3 have documented current Growth Goal and BASIC student information 

All students in caseload demonstrate measurable progress at every 10-week check-ins 

100% completion rate of Student Journey Notes documented at 10th meeting milestone and every 10 meetings thereafter 

 

Collaboration & Teamwork  

Team Participation: Attend and actively participate in monthly staff meetings, Olami training, and development initiatives; watch team meeting recordings if unable to attend live. 

Supervision Engagement: Participate in regular supervision meetings with your Coach Manager to review progress, discuss challenges, and receive feedback.  

Student Hand-off: Play an active, supportive role in transitioning students to local organizations, trip experiences, Souled Partners, or other resources when appropriate, ensuring smooth transitions and clear documentation. 

  

Professional Development  

Continuous Learning: Stay current with new program offerings and best practices specific to Souled coaching work. 

Feedback & Growth: Seek and implement feedback from supervisors; reflect on your coaching practice and identify areas for improvement.  

  

Flexibility & Adaptability  

Variable Hours: Be available to work a minimum of 15-20 hours a week, both daytime and evening hours as student schedules require. 

Tech Proficiency: Use Zoom, CRM systems, and other digital tools efficiently for scheduling, reporting, and communication.  

Travel & Events: Travel for annual staff conference and local events, as well as opportunities to host Shabbos experiences.
